currently im reading Coraline..and i HIGHLY recommend it..srsly!! its such an amazing book. its a children book, which i didn't expect, set in England, which i didn't expect, and its written MARVELOUSLY. because its for children there are a lot of adjectives, but they're fun and make your brain IMAGINE what Mr.B looks like. im so used to reading kids books (to a child a might add, not for myself) and it being simplified, or having no real storyline because kids 'wont get it' (im sorry..what?? how i did I cope, and my parents and grandparents and so on..i read secret garden when i was 8) anyway..so, yes. i highly recommend it. click this link and go to ''coraline the book'' and look at the chapter excerpt to see what i mean.
AND, i really really wanna see princess and the frog. really really really. and so does my man :) thankfully. haha.
right, im off to finish corsets and birthday presents and drink tea and walk the dawg. funfunfun. nice day.

falling into that
beautiful thing

beautiful thing
called love
(ridiculous, inconvenient, consuming,
can't-live'without-each-other love.)
attraction, flirtation, euphoria, doubt, THE TRUTH
(also known as the big whooperdoodle, or, the most
important part of this whole sloppy, thilling, infuriating,
marvelous experience.)
so this is love. as wonderous and scary and fabulous as it
can be. it may have starter with more attraction, but where
its eneded up is somewhere deeper and truer and endlessly
more fullfiling.
and despite yourself, you will have learned a little something
along the way. that euphoria that doesnt have to be fleeting.
that love can survive doubt. that a joyful instinct should
never be repressed.
And so you throw yourself into love. Heartfirst.
never stop falling in love. hearts.

''Love
If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don't love, I've gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I'm bankrupt without love. Love never gives up.
Love cares more for others than for self.
Love doesn't want what it doesn't have.
Love doesn't strut,
Doesn't have a swelled head,
Doesn't force itself on others,
Isn't always "me first,"
Doesn't fly off the handle,
Doesn't keep score of the sins of others,
Doesn't revel when others grovel,
Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,
Puts up with anything,
Trusts God always,
Always looks for the best,
Never looks back,
But keeps going to the end.

movin' on...
Sooooooo, for actual thoughts going on inside my actual head this blog has been a bit low. But now i am back for real :) kind of.
Im moving house :O
I currently live in the house iv lived in sinse i waaassss 10? (im 21 in march) and i love it :D really really do, lots of lovely memories and lovely energies buzzing about in here :). but mum cant afford it anymore, to damned expensive (its rented) so shes moving in with her bf and im moving in with mine :) this is it :D >
Its in the town near us, Leamington Spa, its so soooo cute! We move in on april 3rd :D
When we were looking for somewhere i was in almost physical pain from the grief of losing the house were in at the minute...But its just not practical living here anymore, i neeeeed a job so badly and living here makes it nearly impossible to get anywhere without help or lots of moneys. Where were we?? Oh..i was in pain, lots and lots of pain. until..DUN DUN DUUUUUNNNN, we viewed this house.. We got there earlier than the estate agent lady, and went for a quick walk up the street, where theres a grassy comyn, from which u can see the ENTIRE of Leamington, CRAZY pretty :)..Slowly the stabbing pain of grief caused by losing my childhood (kinda) home was dampened. When the lady arrived we went through the front door (obviously) into a hallway with the original ceramic tiles(!!!!!!) and the pain was halfway numbed! After seeing the entire house i knew i was going to miss my house place like crazy but that moving into the new place with its pretty garden and awesome bathroom was enough to clear the pain entirely. Im also aware i'm going to have to enjoy the bits i love about the house EXTRA hard over the next 2 months. The morning after, i went outside and it was SUNNY so i took pictures whilst walking mums dogs...
this is the view up my drive from the house :)
walk up the track to the 'walled garden'
lonely bench in the garden

shadows taller than our souls in the low down winter sun
from the walled garden you can see the trees and behind them a church

SUNSHIIIINNEE
the walled garden :) pretty pretty
rosie dog, she ooolllddd, but cute :)
we love the lense flare :D

Im gonna take a million more pictures before we leave, make a log of all the houses were in, and he progression of them, changes etc :).
Probably very boring for anyone who reads this, but i guess its for me? Hmm, never mind. :D I love this house, the next tenants better love it this much!

last week i want to see avitar in 3d which was, by the way - SO EFING COOL!!!! really, just...cool. like gold and purple high tops, or a rollercoaster, just. cool. :D
so..anyway, in the adverts beforehand, they were mostly 3d, which was pretty cool :) including, ALICE IN WONDERLAND BY TIM BURTON, oh em gee, im exited for it :D. anyway, SO..im 21 in 2 months or so, and i want a fancy dress party, but getting people to put the same effort that i put in, is difficult, i wanted a masked ball, but no ones gonna go for that the way i would. so, alice in wonderland?? i LOVE the idea, and i know a lot of people do it, but its still cool. so i was googling it, and found this AWESOME SITE, who make props! if i were a millionair, id buy them, but im not, so im gonna see what happens. anyways...

nothing in life worth having comes easy
hello!!
check out my new blog :)
and...
im on twitter now...
not sure how i feel about twitter yet? but i'm going to be updating what i'm doing within my business daily..just in case any of you are interested ;)
a few days ago i cut apart a tweed jacket to make into a corset, and still have the lining, which is only polyester, but it feels like a cotton/silk mix..and the sleeve linings are silk, so i'm going to make a little top/smock thing today :) the greens are beautiful earthy colours, like a field and trees after the rain. cant wait :D
alllssooo, for anyone crafty that happens upon here..this is awesome and inspiring.
i keep having dreams about the end of the world at the minute...strange one.
aaaaaannndddd. yes, today im excited, i feel like things are moving :) but im fully aware also that things DO go wrong, but ''nothing in life worth having comes easy''...and id rather being doing what i love with bits going wrong, than depressed in a job where theres nothing happening for it to go wrong.
so yes.
more later.
love and love and love and stuff

inner sun :)
i get weekly tarot readings from a really good tarot reading
website called www.lotustarot.com, a lot of people think
tarot readings over the net are phoney etc, but as tarot is
left up to fate, i believe it could work. ANYWAY, so i get
emails from them with a weekly tarot message, and i thought
the one i got today, was worth sharing, i really like it :)
As I was relaxing, enjoying the warm sun upon my face today
I thought about the joy, energy and vitality that sunshine
brings.
The same vitality, joy and energy can be found with your
inner sun, and knowing how to draw on this energy can help
you dispel your own dark clouds caused by mixed emotions
and confusion.
The Sun is one of my favorite Tarot cards as it is so
positive and joyful, and whenever it appears in my reading
it conjures up hope and joy in my heart.
The Sun suggests happiness through enjoying time with
family, friends and loved ones, or perhaps holidays and
celebrations - if youe not enjoying yourself in such a
way, this card is suggesting you should!!
The Sun generally indicates good news concerning children,
and can herald the wonderful gift of the conception or
birth of a much wanted child, so if you are hoping for or
planning to start a family, look out for this card in your
readings.
It is a card of good health, joyful emotions and lust for
life ?for me it represents the very essence of life at its
best.
It is our ability to let our own inner sun shine that can
make such a difference; we are naturally drawn to people
who are happy and positive - those with a unny
disposition? When you can transcend negative thoughts and
feelings, and instead think and feel more positively, it
creates a totally different energy.
You can use the Lotus Chakra members?reading to help focus
on your inner sun Chakra.
Look out for when the sun comes up in your readings, and
when it does ask yourself
m I being positive and enthusiastic about my life??
o people see me as happy and joyful??
When you have days where you cannot see through the clouds
of confusion or your heart weighs heavy with dark emotions,
look inwards and focus on letting your inner sun shine, and
dispel those negative thoughts and emotions.
Love and Joy,
Alison
P.S. Don't forget to check out 'The 5 Tibetan Rites'.
These are genuine, simple exercises that literally make you
FEEL YOUNGER!
After just one week of doing the exercises every morning
for only 5 minutes, David (our webmaster) said he found he
was sleeping less, felt great and had already lost a little
weight ... WOW!
